Noah was born and raised, and still resides in Clearwater, Florida when not competing. He began sailing at the age of 6 at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and immediately fell in love with the sport. Lyons moved through a few different classes such as the RS:X and 49er before committing to an Olympic campaign in the iQFOiL class. During his campaign, he graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Microbiology, and decided to put graduate school on hold to pursue the Olympic dream full time. Noah will be representing the USA in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France this summer.
